If the tiny slice of drinking glass were to enter a vein direct, then the glass could exist carried to your heart and potentially cause major impairment. More than likely it that it would cause a cake in a vein and a jell (thrombosis) would grade. Either manner it would be serious.

My wife had a deep cut two months ago, emergency Dr. put lot of alcohal and stiched information technology. At present later 60 days she is still in pain and Doctors are proverb that we cannot detect the tiny peices of drinking glass which might have left in the affected surface area every bit they may causing hurting. Yesterday she was told to wait for years as if they are in the hand cut expanse they may come out after time. This is her correct mitt and she cannot use it as usual which is very annoying and painful. Sad to say- I stepped on glass, idea I got information technology all out of my foot considering it didn't injure. Month passed and I noticed a blue streak on the vein on my ankle- went to doctor who cut/scraped glass out and gave me antibiotics.
I mention this because I cut my wrist with filthy glass a few days ago…sigh! Looks similar I need a tentanus shot as the wrist area looks 'funny'.

…actually, i feel ashamed — i forgot that all claret needs to get to your lungs before it goes anywhere else, so if that tiny piece ever made information technology to one'southward center, information technology would end up in lungs… they have a term for this kind of matter: "pulmonary embolism", that's when a clot from your leg goes upwards to your lungs, and in most cases ends up killing you… can a slice of drinking glass do this? because I am currently suffering from the same affliction originally posed in the question above…

I don't know if it's a genetic matter where people who have congenital vascular disorders (diseases that run in the family – that are inherited – like myself)
you may also desire to try and exfoliate your feet somehow…
one way is to put water and soap on the pavement and scrub your feet into the sand paper like texture of the physical…

It happened to me when i was xv years old, at present i am 34 years old…While cleaning my room i have accidently broken the Glycerine white glass…and one or 2 tiny pieces of glass have entered into my feet…which i experience it goes up and up day by day…..soon after many years my heart started to aches a lot.. i feel it that its going up and upwardly….I am so worries and visit many doctors some say that are you crazy or something some says that it will travel to my heart..some doctors says white glass acnt seen in Ten- Ray…or many matter…Now I information technology aches daily just behind my center….Sudenly after 19 years now i am having such trouble like my TG Trgryceride is so loftier…and even i am taking medicine for that just its not working,,,,When waking up every morning my face is swollen and my caput aches a lot….Now i have adult fat liver also and SGPT is high all the time….I know its due to peice of modest glass that have causes many things….These days its been a month that my body just behing the Heart is aching a lot……But while doing 10 Ray there is naught…Is there anything from which i can diagnosed these things….I wanna alive more than…..Cany anybody take good suggestions….I am still alive…Can information technology be seen from MRI….Please Assistance??

I had a glass bracelet drake off in my wrist when it happened I felt a Sharpe pain go upwards my arm simply could feel the piece in my wrist. 3 days later I felt drinking glass coming out of my arm on the other side. My wrist would not heal so later on 10 days I tried to put a warm rag and try to button it out. Bad option, I felt something rip and it shot upward my arm. Y'all could actually run into the glass moving under my skin. I headed to the infirmary on the way I felt it hit my spin I told the doctor what happened and the physician laughed and said it was impossible. Sent me home. I stayed in bed for days thought I was going to die, I took 3 days for it to travel my body felt every infinitesimal of where information technology was located. I'm just 35 I walked with a pikestaff for a 2 months. Thought I was going to lose use of my right side. iii months later I felt a piece get through my lung. I see the others answering this question are trying to diagnose why you would inquire this question and responding to their ain speculations but I will try and provide a scientific answer which is interesting in its ain right.

Offset of all I would similar to thanks for all the suggestions and all which i really appreciate….Last June I went to Delhi and cheque at Fortis Memorial Enquiry centre & I told the doctor about my small peice of glass which had entered into my anxiety & now its travel to my center & now I am suffering my the back pain behind my centre and my face swell etc… and then my doc suggeted me to do MRI Xray of my chest..there is no sign of piece of white glass but what they had diagnosed with MRI is that the some flesh got rolled over there…& he suggested me to follow up with the Chest Doc, however hat day when i went to see doc but he was on a leave that day…& also medico told me I dont need to worry about the glass, so I though that I dont take any glass inside my heart surface area…than i returned back to Nepal, yet the pain behind my Heart remain the same…I bank check with few doctors they told me that the peice fo glass will never go to the heart….I have something else…but I know the truth that I still take that glass inside my chest area…..What should I do..Should I go back to Delhi again & check it…please propose I desire to live more than….These days I am suffering from the back hurting exactly right my eye & its terrible….I such country like Nepal its impossible to diagnose information technology…I in that location any best infirmary other than Fortis so that I can visit I heard a lot about Apolo infirmary…any suggestions and coments volition be highly appreciated….

Well i retrieve i may be able to provide some good info.
6 years ago i cutting my foot from a broken glass corner of my cupboard's open drinking glass window while i was passing information technology.
It didnt hurt at all and if i didnt wait at my foot at that time i would non accept noticed the deep cut. I lifted my foot to run across blood flowing out of information technology like h2o coming out of a tap.
